The Bible is Our Authority

We believe the Bible (the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation) to be the written revelation of God, complete and sufficient in all respects. We believe the Scriptures to be “God-breathed” (2 Timothy 3:16) and therefore fully authoritative in and of themselves; they rely for their authority upon no church, council, or creed, but are authoritative simply because they are the Word of God. The Scriptures, as they embody the very speaking of God, partake of His authority, His power. (Isaiah 40:8, Mark 13:31, Luke 24:44, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Timothy 3:16)

There is Only One God and He Has No Rival

We believe in one true and eternal Deity, unchanging, unchangeable. We believe God is the Creator of all that exists in heaven and in earth. The God who is described in the Bible is unique; He is unlike anyone or anything else in all the universe. God has all power, all knowledge, all wisdom, and is due all glory, honor and praise. All that comes to pass does so  at the decree of God. All things will, in the end, result in the glory of God. He has no rival; He has no equal. While there may be others in believe in other gods, there is no other God. (Deuteronomy 4:35, Isaiah 44:6; 45:5, Revelation 1:8; 22:13)

God is Triune

We believe the Bible teaches that there is but one being of God, yet there are three Persons who share this one being of God:  the Father, the Son, and the Spirit. Each Person is fully and completely Deity, each is described in Scripture as possessing the attributes of God. The Father, Son, and Spirit have eternally existed in the relationship described by the term “Trinity." Sometimes Scripture lays out the three Persons as God, Lord and Spirit (Ephesians 4:4-6). (Cf. Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)

Man was Made in the Image of God

We believe that man was created in the image of God. Man rebelled against His Creator, and fell into sin. As a result, man became spiritually dead, totally unwilling and indeed incapable of seeking after God. God, from eternity past, having foreordained all things, joined a certain people to Christ Jesus, so that He might redeem them from their sin and in so doing bring glory to Himself. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died in the place of His people, providing full and complete forgiveness of sins by His death upon the cross. No other work can provide for forgiveness of sins, and no addition can be made to the completed and finished work of Christ. We summarize the work of Jesus through His Law-fulfilling life, death-defeating death, life-giving resurrection, and throne-ascending ascension. (Genesis 1:26-27, Ephesians 1:3-14; 4:24, Colossians 3:10)

Salvation is by Grace and through Faith in Christ Alone

We believe that God, in His sovereign grace and mercy, regenerates sinful men by the power of the Holy Spirit, bringing them to new life. Through repentance and believing in Christ, people's total identity is made new, redeemed, set apart, and encapulated with the blessing of being joined to Jesus--safe and secure in Him. It is by God's grace, not our works, that we are saved. Our faith in the Lord Jesus receives His grace and through the indwelling Spirit, we live new lives, producing good deeds, and bearing the fruit of the Spirit. (John 3:16, Acts 4:12, Romans 3-8, Ephesians 2:1-10)

The Church is the Bride of Christ

We believe Jesus Christ established His Church, which is made up of all believers from every generation. His Church is His people and His bride. As His Church, we listen to His Word as found in the Bible. All who believe in Christ are placed in His body, the Church. The local expressions of the Church are very important, and each believer should be actively involved in such a fellowship. The Church is not limited to culture or race, but is united by faith in Christ and the core essentials of the faith. (Matthew 16, Revelation 5)

King Jesus Will Return to Reign as Lord with His Church in the Culminated New Creation

Jesus is the "King of kings," "Lord of lords," and the "Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end" (Revelation 17:1419:16,22:13). While He has ascended to Heaven, He has promised to fulfill the biblical promise to redeem the totality of creation, all of the cosmos. Believers will reap the blessing of being in loving relationship with the Lord, having an eternal existence in His new creation--the new heaven and new earth. Unbelievers will face the punishment of rejecting God and His gracious gift of life, facing eternal death--annihilation. (Matthew 5:3-10, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 11:15; 19-22)

Believers are to be Busy Making Disciples Until the Lord's Second Coming

Until His return, believers are to live lives that bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. The Church is to be busy doing the work of evangelism and discipleship, proclaiming the pure, uncompromised Gospel of Christ by teaching the Word of God. (Matthew 28, Acts 1:8, 2 Timothy 4:2)

Brayden Brookshier

Hello, my name is Brayden and I am a Christian, devoted to Jesus, and husband devoted to Ariana before anything else. I believe the Bible is an inexhaustible source of life and knowledge. Thus, I am in the life-long pursuit of soaking in as much of the Word as I can.

One of my niche areas of study is New Testament Greek. Through various experiences in ministry, I have discovered my greatest passion and gifting is the communication of God's glorious truth. Whether it may be preaching, teaching, or writing; I enjoy it all.

When I am not studying the Bible or teaching it, I delight in adventuring with my wife, traveling to new places, or revising favorite spots. I am a nature-lover. Whether it be beach or mountains I am happiest living recreationally in God's creation.

I’m Cory and I must write this copy myself because, aside from the support of our wives, Brayden and I are a two-man operation. I was saved as a child and became serious about my faith when I turned around 15 or 16. Having gone to church my whole life and questioning my sincerity to the Gospel, I read the Bible cover to cover and discovered the richness of God’s word.

Since then, I have devoted my life to studying Scripture and applying it to my passion for artistic expression. I have a background in video production and stage tech so while Brayden handles a lot of the content for our ministry, I can focus on the technical aspects.

I also love music and people. Sometimes one more than the other.
